Matson, Inc. is an American  owned and operated transportation services company headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii. The company is listed on the NYSE. It provides services in Guam and Micronesia.

The company has been a leader in Pacific shipping since 1882. Its subsidiary, Matson Navigation Company, Inc. (Matson) provides a vital lifeline to the economies of Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Micronesia and the South Pacific and premium, expedited service from China to Southern California. The company’s fleet of vessels includes containerships, combination container and roll-on/roll-off ships and custom-designed barges. The company also provides container and chassis leasing services.

Matson has facilities and operations at three West Coast ports: Long Beach, Oakland, and Tacoma. From these port areas, it provides services to Guam and continuing service from Guam to the neighboring islands of Saipan, Republic of Palau, Federated States of Micronesia (Yap, Chuuk, Pohnpei, Kosrae), and Okinawa, Japan.
