Monday, November 27, 2017 - Maite, GuamWith the 2017 Pacific Mini Games scheduled to begin in seven days, Team Guam’s athletes have been preparing for the multi-event competition. The event will be held from December 4-15, 2017 in Port Vila, Vanuatu.Guam’s delegation includes athletes from Athletics, Beach Volleyball, Judo and Weightlifting. Judo and Weightlifting will compete during the first week of competition while Athletics and Beach Volleyball’s activities commence on the second week.Team Guam will be represented by Athan Jon Arizanga, Gemma Cris, Amanda Cruz and Shania Bulala in the Track and Field events. Kendra Byrd and Tatiana Sablan competes in Beach Volleyball. Judoka’s Taylor Whitt and Deja Whitt tests their skill set on the Judo mat while Jacinta Sumagaysay pits her prowess in Weightlifting. The team officials include Joshua Ilustre, Ceasar Whitt and Edgar Molinos.The opening ceremony will be held on Monday, December 4, 8:00 p.m. while the closing ceremony is set for Friday, December 15, 7:00 p.m. at the Korman Stadium.Last Modified on 27/11/2017 11:38
