The Guam NOC Medical and Anti-Doping Commission hosted aClean Sport workshop on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the GNOC 3rd floorConference Room with Team Guam athletes and entourage who will be competing inthe 10th Micronesian Games in Majuro, Marshall Islands from June 15-24, 2024.

The participants include members of GuamBasketball, Guam Track& Field Association, andMarianas Underwater Fishing Federation.

The presentation was led by Guam NOC MADCChairperson Dr. Luis Cruz, newly installed GUA-NOC NADO OceaniaRegional Anti-Doping Organization (ORADO) Representative Lenora Matanane and Oceania Sport Education ProgramRegional Master Educator and Lead Doping Control Officer Joey Miranda III.

The workshop provided the participants withknowledge and information on the Anti-Doping Rule Violations, Rights andResponsibilities of an Athlete, Prohibited List 2024, Therapeutic UseExemption, Anti-Doping Administration & Management Systems (ADAMS), andDoping Control Process of Testing.
